Founding Full Stack Engineer

We're TORI — a venture-backed startup transforming drive-thrus with our proprietary conversational AI assistant that takes orders with speed and efficiency. We're looking for a high-energy, mission-driven engineer who wants to build fast, learn constantly, and help define the future of food tech.

• Architect, build, and launch core components of TORI's AI-driven ordering platform across web and edge environments
• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and customer teams to ship fast and iterate often
• Apply AI and large language models (LLMs) to power real-world voice interactions
• Make foundational technology decisions with long-term impact on scalability and reliability
• Dive into real-world customer problems, fix issues fast, and help create a category-defining experience
• Influence company culture, hiring practices, and technical direction as we grow

• Entrepreneurial mindset and hunger to own projects end-to-end
• Strong backend experience with Node.js, Postgre
  
  SQL, and cloud infrastructure (AWS or similar)
• Experience building systems that integrate AI/ML, third-party APIs, and multi-platform frontends
• Comfort working with devops tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong computer science fundamentals and a bias toward shipping product
• Bonus: experience in restaurant tech, voice AI, or high-scale transactional systems
