The Warranty Analyst position will analyze and process warranty claims for domestic and international dealers. The analysis includes that the proper information was submitted, that the truck is still within the warranty period and within the warranty hour limits, that the reported repairs are reasonable for the reported problem description, the proper warranty codes have been entered by the dealer warranty analyst, the labor and travel times are in line with the published guides and guidelines and that the claim makes sense.
This position will be located in our Flower Mound, TX facility and is an onsite position that does not offer remote work.
Responsibilities- Processing the daily warranty claims per standard times guides, but at the same time making sure that the claims are truthful, necessary and eligible claims.
- Position will also prepare, organize, and conduct training of CLARK dealers in the proper use and setup of the electronic warranty system and other CLARK data systems used by the dealers.
- Responsibilities also include working closely with the Return Material Department, handling all correspondence with the dealers’ concerning parts returns. Performing all the claims charge backs online suggested by Return Material. Also responsible for the tracking of all parts not returned and charging those claims back to the dealers.
- Address claim disputes, return material and truck installation problems
- Train dealers’ warranty staff (prepare, organize, and conduct warranty classes and train warranty staff by video conference
- Train CLARK affiliate warranty administrators on policies and procedures and be available always for assistance as needed.
- Launch Field Fixes and Field Campaigns and manage existing ones.
- Extensive collection and analysis of warranty data for various warranty reports for management and other departments such as engineering.
- Work with accounts receivable dept on all credits to balance out monthly reports.
- Run reports of installations by APR as requested by Dealer development and also provide these same type reports to individual dealers.
- Work closely with programmers implementing changes and assisting dealers with online problems submitted to the Help desk.
- Work with auditors on a quarterly basis and whenever required.
- Responsible for editing monthly claims report for submittal to Korea for warranty reimbursement.
- Closely work with Return Material Dept and perform all correspondence with the dealers’ concerning parts returns and charge backs of claims.
- Assist and work with management to maintain DIS Manuals and assure they are updated timely with the current information.
- Attend various quality and truck issues meetings.
- Position requires involvement with most departments within the company as well as upper management.
- Performs other related duties as required.
- Minimum five years related work experience.
- Must possess strong analytical skills and effective interpersonal and communication skills to interact with a wide range of users having different levels of computer expertise. Ability to design workable solutions to problems in a timely manner.
- Must have excellent verbal & written communication skills with the ability to maintain customer relationships.
- Outstanding planning, tracking, and follow-up skills a must.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through on multiple projects and tasks at one time
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Indefinitely
