Chenega Agile Real-Time Solutions (CARS) is seeking a M&S Platform Lead Dev Ops Engineer is responsible for architecting, implementing, and sustaining the Dev Sec Ops platform supporting C5
ISR Modeling & Simulation applications across cloud and on‑premises environments.
- Architect, implement, and configure the M&S Dev Sec Ops platform to support application, user, and site requirements.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code and core platform services supporting M&S environments.
- Design and maintain highly reliable and highly available platform architectures.
- Support secure software delivery pipelines and compliance with Dev Sec Ops best practices.
- Provide engineering support for transition activities.
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years relevant experience or
- Associate’s Degree and 10 years relevant experience or
- 12 years relevant experience:
- 7 years of relevant development experience using C , Python, AFSIM, web services, databases, and/or web applications.
- Proficiency with Dev Sec Ops tools and processes, including Git Lab, Sonar Qube, and Fortify.
- Experience architecting platforms for both cloud and on‑premises environments.
- Experience designing systems for high reliability and availability.
- Active Secret Clearance
- Experience supporting DoD Dev Sec Ops pipelines and secure environments.
- Familiarity with M&S platform sustainment and transition engineering.
- Ability to work independently and yet be effective within a team setting
- Must be capable of managing multiple efforts with time‑related constraints in a fast‑paced contracting environment
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individuals
- Friendly presence, helpful attitude, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others.
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applications
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications, and experience working in a home office setting as well as the ability to train end users on frequently asked technical issues.
- Ability to provide technical assistance and support over the phone; good phone skills, professional demeanor, and previous customer service experience strongly desired.
- Good problem‑solving skills; ability to visualize a problem/situation and think abstractly to solve it
