Description
Leidos has an opening for a Digital Platform Manager to support management of environments and tools in support of digital software offerings across multiple clouds (AWS, Azure, Google, and Oracle).
This role is a hybrid remote position with onsite work as needed. Preferred candidates will be located near Hanscom AFB (Boston, MA).
Primary Responsibilities- Lead a team of system architects/engineers (Leidos personnel and subcontractors) to fulfill program requirements.
- Provide customer support on infrastructure, tools, and provisioning of new tools and users.
- Design and architect scalable, resilient, and secure cloud solutions across Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) networks.
- Configure and maintain the DPaaS environments.
- Develop, update/patch, assess, integrate, deploy and maintain digital software (e.g., Cameo, Teamwork Cloud Server, DOORS, AFSIM, Atlassian tools, Sparx EA, MATLAB).
- Assist the Government with the risk management framework by providing continuous monitoring of the DPaaS environment.
- Optimize digital software performance and reliability in cloud environments.
- Evaluate digital software and alternatives including cost and risk, supportability and analyses for total systems. Include systems requirements analysis, functional analysis, timeline analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition, technical management, integration, system testing, and quality assurance.
- Manage, maintain, and monitor shared VPC network environments aligned with organizational objectives and technical requirements as part of the data protection services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, operations, security, and product management.
- Implement network segmentation, Zero Trust principles, and policy-based access controls.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Present architectural designs and recommendations to executive leadership.
- Mentor, guide and supervise teams on DPaaS solutions/activities.
- Lead architectural reviews and provide guidance on complex technical decisions.
- Act as the DPaaS manager to assess employee performance, hire new employees, and ensure compliance with corporate training requirements for Leidos personnel.
- Bachelors and 8+ years of experience;
Masters and 6+ years of experience. Additional experience may be accepted in lieu of degree. - 4+ years of prior experience managing/leading teams/projects.
- Interim Secret clearance to start; ability to obtain Secret clearance to maintain employment.
- US citizenship required.
- Certifications:
CompTIA Security+ or equivalent (IAT-2);
Certifications:
One or more cloud certifications. - Excellent customer service skills and experience in customer-facing roles.
- Experience with installation and deployment of digital software tools such as Cameo, Teamwork Cloud Server, DOORS, AFSIM, Atlassian tools, Sparx EA, MATLAB.
- Experience with various cloud Software as a Service (SaaS) offerings.
- Experience with USAF Cloud One or Platform 1.
- Cloud certifications in AWS, Azure, Google, or Oracle clouds.
- Experience with multiple CSPs/Clouds.
- Certification examples include AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional), Azure Solutions Architect (Expert), MCSE, Certified AWS Sys Ops/Dev Ops/Architect certifications, and related cloud credentials.
