Location: Remote US

Compensation: $240,000 to $300,000 base, plus bonus and equity

What You’ll Do:

Huntress seeks an experienced leader to elevate our Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) teams and deliver purpose-built products for all businesses. In this role, you’ll be responsible for teams that develop our flagship EDR product, enabling Huntress to defeat hackers and defend the 99%. We’re seeking a passionate, inclusive engineering leader who can bring state-of-the-art engineering practices and deep experience in developing teams and people to accelerate our next growth phase.

EDR is a high-impact product, and we need a strong leader to continue improving it.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver performant, scalable products iteratively, balancing incremental customer value with long-term product evolution
• Drive the technical roadmap and best practices for our EDR solutions to scale with growth and user demand
• Attract, recruit, and retain top engineering talent
• Hire and coach engineering managers to build and enable great teams
• Set clear expectations with leaders and ICs, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance conversations to foster a high-performing engineering team
• Identify opportunities and implement improvements to product and engineering practices to optimize efficiency, quality, and time-to-market
• Partner with other engineering leaders, product leaders, and architects to ensure teams and technology deliver real value for customers
• Collaborate with Architecture, Product Management, and Threat Operations teams to integrate their expertise into our products

What You Bring To The Team:

• 10+ years of experience in engineering leadership, building SaaS products in a modern SaaS environment
• 3+ years of experience at the director level or higher
• Experience with scalable delivery of on-premise software agents
• Experience developing, evolving, and maintaining high-volume, scalable solutions
• Deep understanding of organizing engineering teams to deliver customer value iteratively and experience with approaches such as hypothesis-driven development, Shape Up, Scrum, and Kanban
• Skilled at hiring, building teams, leading, coaching managers, and performance management
• Demonstrated success working with architecture and product management leaders to develop and execute a shared product and technical vision
• Experience in a fully remote environment
• Helpful but not required: experience with high-volume data ingest platforms
