Overview
POSITION SUMMARY: The Application Systems Analyst II serves as a key liaison between FPI, client institutions, and external technology providers to manage system configuration, implementation, maintenance, and user support in alignment with FPI’s business requirements within the agricultural lending Loan Operations space. The Analyst also leads process evaluation and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency, data accuracy, and service quality across FPI loan accounting operations.
Success in this position requires strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, hands-on experience testing and troubleshooting system issues, and the ability to translate business needs into practical, system-based solutions. The role requires the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain effective communication with both business and technical audiences.
- Serve as a primary application liaison for client loan accounting teams, managing incident, request, change, release, UAT and configuration updates within established SLAs.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), system documentation, and process maps to ensure consistency and audit readiness.
- Ensure that all development and/or corrective software has been fully tested and documented by providing direction to QA resources developing test plans.
- Stay current on system upgrades, and best practices; proactively assess impact to operational workflows.
- Perform additional duties aligned with system improvement, reporting, or support objectives.

- Maintains vendor relationships, including service level adherence, roadmap review, and release impact assessments.
- Monitors and evaluates vendor-supplied application releases and upgrades, communicating relevant updates and implementation impacts to internal stakeholders and partner institutions.
- Provides cross-functional support to other FPI operational areas, such as QA, during testing cycles, project implementations, and issue resolution.
- Contributes to project teams and operational initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and quality standards.
- Identifies and implements quality and process improvements that enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction across loan operations systems.
- Participates in advanced technical initiatives and business projects that support professional growth and deepen expertise in agricultural lending and financial technology.
- Experience with support of Infor FSM/General Ledger strongly preferred.
Bachelor's degree in a business or computer related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in systems analysis or application administration.
- Proficiency with Microsoft operating systems and strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
- Experience with Fiserv DNA, SQL, Salesforce, or nCino preferred.
- Knowledge of agricultural lending or banking operations a plus.
- Ability to report to work in person and to attend work-related functions/activities.
- Ability to work at a desk and use a computer for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move objects up to 10 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to occasionally travel as required.
- Ability to type and utilize various software programs efficiently and operate general office equipment.
- Ability to work in an office setting with moderate noise levels.
- Additional physical demands include, but may not be limited to, frequent talking or hearing, occasional push/pull, stoop/kneel, bend/twist, and reach to retrieve or move items in a typical office environment.

- This role has been designated as a Hybrid role, which gives employees the opportunity to work from home on Mondays and Fridays and working in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
