Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design, integration and development of multilayer real-time cloud security architectures for hybrid cloud systems deployed across multiple hyperscale service providers, including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Provide cloud security architectural leadership and best practices;
Contribute directly to the overall global enterprise and customer-facing cloud architecture to deliver the security vision and convergence strategy around cloud-based applications for our clients across Infrastructure, Platform and Software as a Service (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS).Serve as a central point of contact for other technology teams in the Commercial business, for all matters related to cloud and hybrid defense security architecture reporting into Siemens Digital Industries Software Chief Information Security Office.
Partner with other leaders across the business to identify opportunities and risks required to develop and deliver solutions that support business strategies and protect our clients’ intellectual property globally.
Develop and implement strategies to protect intellectual property (IP) and sensitive information.
Collaborate with legal and R&D teams to ensure IP protection measures are integrated into business processes.
Develop and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures related to source code access with both internal and external 3rd parties..
Work closely with product teams to implement policies and technology that minimizes the impact to developer productivity, while at the same time greatly reducing chances of IP theft.
Implement and manage security measures to protect source code and software development processes.
Work with various teams to automate and link approaches to the CI/CD pipeline processes of various products.
Ensure proper access controls are in place to protect sensitive information and systems.
Conduct gap assessments, risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential threats.
Oversee the design and implementation of security systems and infrastructure.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Key stakeholder for the continuing maturing of the cybersecurity incident response plan.
Advise and consult for escalation of security incidents, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
Key stakeholder in the development and maintenance of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Stay updated on the latest security trends, technologies, and threats.
Monitor and address potential IP infringements and breaches.
Work with development teams to ensure secure coding practices and code review processes.
Define and implement identity and access management (IAM) policies and procedures.
Utilize certified ethical hacking techniques to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities.
10+ years of experience with technical architecture, cybersecurity, and information technology
5+ years of experience with Cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, GCP, or Open Stack
5+ years of experience architecting secure environments for source code, data protection, and intellectual property
Expert level of knowledge for threat detection, attack surface reduction and secure development
Experience with assessment, development, implementation, optimization, and documentation of a comprehensive and broad set of security technologies and processes application security, data security, cryptography, key management, identity, and access management (IAM), network security in IaaS, PaaS, and other cloud environments
Experience with container orchestration, automation, and security configuration management, including Jenkins and Chef
Experience in working with cloud security and governance tools, application edge security, secure access service edge (SASE) and server virtualization technologies
Experience in securing Artificial Intelligence ecosystems including agents, large language models, and model context protocol servers
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH is a plus.
Must have experience coding or building CI/CD pipelines.
Experience in protecting source code and software development processes.
Experience in defining and implementing identity and access management (IAM) policies and procedures.
Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to manage complex security projects and initiatives.
