Role & Responsibilities
  • Lead data-driven strategic initiatives across email, SMS, mobile, and emerging channels, using analytics to inform client success.
  • Lead modernization initiatives within client email programs, incorporating modular design systems, scalable templates, and AI-ready frameworks that future-proof marketing capabilities.
  • Drive comprehensive AI readiness efforts by recommending systems and practices that enable clients to adopt and scale AI-driven marketing technologies across channels.
  • Translate complex customer, behavioral, and campaign data into clear, high-impact insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Develop measurement frameworks, segmentation models, and testing roadmaps to drive innovation and optimize performance.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, delivering forward-thinking strategies and solution-oriented approaches.
  • Continuously scan the marketplace for emerging trends, tools, and technologies, incorporating them into client strategies and internal best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—creatives, developers, data analysts, campaign managers—to bring big-picture strategies to life.
  • Deliver engaging presentations, workshops, and playbooks that communicate complex strategies in a client-friendly way.
  • Ensure presentations are audience-appropriate and demonstrate strategic vision and measurable business impact.
  • Communicate confidently in executive-level dialogue and connect marketing initiatives to overarching business goals.
  • Actively contribute to Shaw/Scott’s thought leadership by sharing insights and elevating the company’s presence in the industry.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing strategy, with demonstrated expertise in data analytics, technical platforms, and cross-channel integration.
  • Proven track record of innovative problem-solving and delivering measurable impact for clients.
  • Understanding of marketing technology ecosystems—including ESPs, CDPs, analytics tools, segmentation platforms, and data privacy best practices.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with comfort in data visualization.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills—able to bridge the gap between technical complexity and executive-level decision-making; adept at engaging with high-level stakeholders.
  • Self-starting, organized, and adaptable—able to manage multiple projects while maintaining strategic focus.
  • Bachelor’s degree required;
    Master’s degree preferred.
Work Environment / Travel

We are a 100% remote company. This role may require occasional travel to facilitate in-person collaboration, strategic workshops, and client meetings.

Compensation

The hourly range for this position is $90 - $105/hour, depending on experience. As a contract role, no additional benefits are available in accordance with company policy.
