Job OverviewWe are looking for a proactive, intelligent, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Product Lead to manage our voice-based AI solutions, with a focus on working with partners, collaborators, client organizations and users to derive maximal value from cutting-edge technology, listening to, and addressing user needs. The ideal candidate will work closely with customers, engineering, and the data teams to ensure a seamless user experience while aligning the product roadmap with strategic goals.
This role requires active customer engagement and data-driven decision-making.
- Define and evolve the Voice AI roadmap aligned with Intron’s strategic goals.
- Translate user needs (doctors, enterprises, call-centers, etc.) into Voice AI product priorities.
- Track global benchmarks in speech recognition (STT), LLMs, and healthcare AI and adapt them to LMIC contexts.
- Lead cross-functional squads (Engineering, Data Science, Design, Operations) to deliver product milestones.
- Drive experiments, pilots, and feature launches (accuracy tuning, latency reduction, multilingual support, hardware bundles, etc.).
- Own KPIs: STT accuracy, latency, adoption, ROI proof points, and user satisfaction.
- Collaborate with research partners to localize models (African accents, noisy environments, medical terms).
- Identify opportunities to integrate with third-party AI tools and extend Intron’s voice stack.
- Work closely with Partnerships & Business Development to shape enterprise deals.
- Translate pilot learnings into repeatable, scalable solutions for enterprise clients (insurers, call centers, hospital systems).
- Build frameworks to move quickly from proof-of-concept to scale-up deployments, ensuring adoption, impact, and commercial success.
- Co-design solutions with doctors, nurses, and frontline users.
- Engage with enterprise stakeholders to adapt Voice AI for productivity and compliance use-cases.
- Ensure product-market fit through continuous user and market feedback loops.
- Champion a user-first, data-driven, and fast-iteration culture at Intron.
- 3+ years of experience in product management.
- a track record of innovation– searching, curating, generating, and adapting ideas to solve new problems in uncharted territory
- Exposure to data intensive, machine learning or LLM/AI products is a plus but not required.
- Strong customer engagement skills and the ability to travel.
- Experience collaborating with engineering teams and managing data-driven projects.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- A keen eye for detail, diving into the minutiae to unearth easily overlooked problems
- Familiarity with voice technology, or transcription solutions is a plus.
- Not in this for the money (because we’re obviously a seed-stage startup, we don’t have it) but is ready to co-invest sweat, time, and effort for outsized returns in the future
