Senior Technical Program Manager

Overview

Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Senior Technical Program Manager in San Mateo, CA to act as the technical program manager for the data engineering team. • Serve as the technical program manager for the data engineering team, coordinating project phases using Agile methodologies and collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence, Rally, Spreadsheet).
• Design, develop, test, deploy and manage analytics and visualization solutions using AWS, JavaScript, SQL DB, Python; retrieve and structure datasets for reporting and analysis with SQL, Apache Hadoop, and big data platforms.
• Manage Data Warehouses using cloud, data center and networking infrastructure technologies; support deployment of Java applications with software version control using Jenkins pipeline, SVN, and Git.
• Engage in fiscal year planning for software and hardware; work with cloud-based technologies (AWS, Azure, Kubernetes) and ICP cloud platform for product delivery.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and ensure delivery aligns with product goals and timelines.

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• Three (3) years of experience delivering robust analytics and visualization solutions.
• Experience with AWS, JavaScript, SQL DB, Python; data engineering and reporting tools including Power BI, Excel, and Python data analytics.
• Experience with data extraction, transformation and loading, and knowledge of big data platforms (e.g., Apache Hadoop).
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (JIRA, Confluence, Rally, Spreadsheet).
• Familiarity with cloud and on-premises infrastructure, including VM onboarding and cloud platforms; knowledge of version control (Git, SVN) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins).
