Job DescriptionNDi is seeking an experienced Information Management Specialist to provide leadership and oversight of enterprise information governance, data management, and system security compliance for a large federal IT services program. The Information Management Specialist will serve as the key advisor on information assurance, data protection, and IT policy implementation—ensuring compliance with DoD and federal standards. This role requires strong knowledge of Automatic Data Processing (ADP) environments, data‑handling procedures, and cybersecurity management frameworks.
Requirements- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Active Secret Clearance required.
- This position requires 5 days onsite in Dahlgren, VA. Up to 40% remote work may become available at a later stage.
- Bachelor's degree in any technical or related field.
- Six (6) years of professional experience in a broad‑base Automatic Data Processing (ADP) services environment, Navy Enterprise Resource Planning, Waypoints Learning Management System, Total Workforce Management Services, Human Resources Port, and online reservations.
- Works independently, may supervise/manage junior Information Management specialist(s).
- Demonstrated experience managing information resources, data assurance, and IT process controls across enterprise systems.
- Experience developing, implementing, or auditing policies and procedures to ensure information integrity, confidentiality, and availability.
- Certifications (per DoD 8570/8140 IAM Level III), minimum of one: CISM, CISSP (Associate or Full), GSLC, CCISO, CGEIT, HCISPP, or CISSP‑ISSMP.
- Strong understanding of federal information security policies, including RMF, NIST SP 800‑53, and DoD cybersecurity standards.
- Proven ability to coordinate with technical and management teams to ensure compliance and readiness across IT systems.
- Expertise in information assurance, risk management, and policy implementation.
- Experience conducting audits, security reviews, and data‑quality assessments.
- Ability to translate technical security requirements into actionable management policies.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to mentor junior analysts and foster a compliance‑focused culture.
- Ensure compliance with DoD and federal cybersecurity directives, data‑handling requirements, and configuration‑management policies.
- Serve as the program lead for documentation and maintenance of RMF and cybersecurity compliance artifacts.
- Monitor information‑system activities to identify and mitigate security or data‑integrity risks.
- Coordinate with cybersecurity and IT operations teams to ensure classified and unclassified systems remain compliant with accreditation standards.
- Support audits, inspections, and readiness reviews related to information assurance.
- Advise program leadership on information‑management strategy, governance, and risk posture.
- Provide IAM III‑level expertise to guide implementation of secure IT operations.
- Contribute to process improvement, policy development, and continuous‑monitoring initiatives.
