IT Project Manager, Cloud Computing
Plan A Technologies is looking for a Technical Program Manager with a deep background in Real Estate / Prop Tech to lead high‑stakes technology initiatives. In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex software engineering and physical property operations. You will be responsible for orchestrating the delivery of technical products—such as smart building platforms, asset management tools, or tenant experience apps—ensuring they meet the unique regulatory and operational demands of the real estate industry.
PLEASE NOTE: you must have at least 6+ years of experience as a PM within the Real Estate expertise to be considered for this role.
Job ResponsibilityDefine and drive the technical execution of multiple engineering work streams, ensuring alignment with real estate business cycles (leasing, acquisition, and construction).
Act as the primary translator between software developers, data engineers, and real estate stakeholders (Asset Managers, Brokers, and Property Managers).
Lead the technical integration of third‑party real estate systems (e.g., Yardi, MRI, or VTS) with internal proprietary platforms.
Manage programs involving IoT deployments, building automation, and sustainability/ESG tracking technology across our portfolio.
Oversee technical due diligence and ensure all programs comply with data privacy laws (GDPR/SOC2) and real estate industry standards.
Implement Agile/Scrum methodologies within technical teams to increase velocity and ensure the high‑quality delivery of property‑facing products.
Experience6+ years of experience managing large‑scale, complex software or infrastructure programs.
3+ years of specific experience within the Real Estate or Prop Tech sectors. You must understand property management workflows, real estate finance, or construction tech.
Mastery of Jira and Confluence for tracking technical roadmaps and documentation.
Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and data pipelines, particularly how they handle large‑scale real estate datasets.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational, problem‑solver, and analytical abilities.
Outstanding communication, and interpersonal skills.
Initiative and drive to do great things.
