System Security Analyst

Pay: $100,000 - $125,000 per year

Location:

Hybrid (Downtown Plano with 1 day in the office and 3 days remote/week)

Seeking a knowledgeable and proactive System Security Analyst to safeguard sensitive data and infrastructure within a dynamic organization. The ideal candidate will implement and maintain robust security measures, identify vulnerabilities, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure compliance and security. • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field
• Certifications such as CISA, CISSP preferred
• 5-7 years of experience in Information Security
• Technical expertise in cloud environments (AWS, Azure)
• Experience with firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, and wireless access points
• Hands-on experience with security tools like Cyber Ark, Okta, Cyber Reason, Splunk, and vulnerability scanners
• In-depth understanding of enterprise technologies, including Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, SQL, Office 365, and Windows Server environments
• Knowledge of security controls, penetration testing, and mitigation strategies
• Familiarity with web-based firewalls, identity management, and cybersecurity trends

• Analyze and implement system security measures to protect infrastructure
• Install and maintain security software such as firewalls, encryption, and intrusion detection systems
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and recommend corrective actions
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to enforce security policies and standards
• Monitor security alerts and respond to threats proactively
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
• Verify and manage security controls for third-party vendors
• Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, tools, and threats
• Participate in security audits and documentation efforts
• Support incident response and mitigation activities as needed
