We are seeking a Senior UX Designer who can operate as both a hands-on designer and a design thinking facilitator. This role will lead human-centered discovery activities, facilitate collaborative workshops, and translate qualitative and quantitative insights into clear personas, end-to-end user journeys, and actionable experience designs.
This designer will partner closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, Engineering, and Business Stakeholders to ensure customer needs, usability, and business outcomes are aligned throughout discovery and delivery.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign Thinking & Facilitation- Lead design thinking workshops, including:
- Discovery and problem-framing sessions
- Persona creation workshops
- User journey mapping and service blueprinting
- Ideation, concepting, and prioritization sessions
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Business stakeholders
- Apply structured methodologies (e.g., empathy mapping, “How Might We,” story mapping) to guide teams from ambiguity to clarity
User Research & Synthesis
- Plan and execute user research (interviews, contextual inquiry, usability testing, surveys, analytics review)
- Synthesize research findings into:
- Personas grounded in real user behavior
- Current-state and future-state user journeys
- Clear problem statements and opportunity areas
- Balance qualitative insights with quantitative data to inform decisions
Experience Design & Artifacts
- Translate user insights into:
- User flows and interaction models
- Wireframes and low-/high-fidelity prototypes
- Experience principles and design recommendations
- Partner with Product and Engineering to ensure designs are feasible, scalable, and aligned with delivery constraints
- Support accessibility, usability, and inclusive design standards
- Act as a UX thought leader, coaching teams on user-centered practices
- Partner with Product Managers to shape discovery backlogs and outcomes
- Collaborate with Engineers early to reduce design-to-delivery friction
- Present design rationale and research insights to stakeholders and leadership
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in UX, Product Design, or Human-Centered Design
- Demonstrated experience leading design thinking workshops in cross-functional environments
- End-to-end discovery to delivery work
- Expertise in research synthesis and storytelling
- Proficiency with design and collaboration tools (e.g., Figma, Miro, Fig Jam, Sketch, Adobe XD)
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in enterprise, platform, or complex system environments
- Familiarity with Agile / Scrum
- Experience designing for internal tools, B2B, or regulated environments
- Background in service design or systems thinking

- Teams consistently start work with clear problem statements and validated user needs
- Personas and user journeys are actively used—not shelfware
- Stakeholders align more quickly through structured workshops
- Reduced rework due to earlier discovery and shared understanding
