Brooksource and our Elevate Program is looking to hire a Junior Software Engineer who will be working on highly visible projects and rotations for the multiple Enterprise Teams at one of our clients in Louisville, KY.

This is not a typical entry-level role — you’ll be part of the first wave of talent building and supporting our next-gen Omnichannel Ordering Platform, working across web, iOS, Android, analytics, and enterprise systems.

You’ll collaborate with high-performing cross-functional teams and get direct mentorship from some of the brightest minds in product, UX, mobile and web engineering, data science, analytics, and quality. You’ll develop a well-rounded, modern digital skillset that spans customer experience, machine learning, and platform architecture — all while working on meaningful, real-world projects that reach millions of customers.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Baseline Technical Skills: 4-year technical degree preferred with experience in JAVA, CSS,

Python, and Cloud Exposure

• Solid understanding of the software development life cycle and software methodologies

• Curious Technologists – You’ve built a project, joined a hackathon, or experimented with a new tool just because you wanted to.

• Data-Driven Decision Makers – You’re excited by insights and believe data should inform design, development, and strategy.
• Creative Problem Solvers – You don’t just code — you think. You want to make things better, smarter, faster, and more impactful.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with Agile teams on next generation ordering platform.
• Support the development of new customer experiences across Web, iOS, and Android.
• Partner with Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Enterprise Data & Analytics to drive smarter, data-informed decisions.
• Participate in end-to-end software development, from ideation to delivery and optimization.
• Gain real-world experience working with cutting-edge tools and concepts, including:
• A/B testing and experimentation frameworks o Machine learning operations (MLOps) and research methodologies o Observability and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices
• CI/CD pipelines and modern Dev Ops workflows o AI-driven automation testing platforms
• Customer experience innovation using Google Gemini and Vertex AI
• Learn to build customer-first solutions with platforms like Flutter, Next.
