This is a remote position; however, due to labor law regulations and business requirements, candidates residing in certain states may not be eligible for remote work. Employment eligibility from specific states will be reviewed and may require prior approval. Alternatively, candidates have the option to work onsite at our Yuma, AZ location.

- Team Oversight:
Mentor a multidisciplinary team of Desktop Engineers, Server Systems Engineers, and Database Administrators. Coordinate daily operations, manage workloads, and prioritize requests to ensure alignment with organizational goals. - Systems Operations:
Oversee the health and reliability of on-premises and cloud-based environments, endpoint systems, and enterprise databases supporting clinical and business functions. Serve as the escalation point for complex technical issues and major incidents affecting clinical operations. Monitor system patching, backups, disaster recovery readiness, and data protection procedures across all environments. - Projects:
Support key infrastructure projects, including server upgrades, data center modernization, and endpoint lifecycle management. Participate in electronic health record system integrations and upgrades, clinical application deployments, and technology refresh cycles. Champion automation, standardization, and process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, uptime, and support responsiveness. - Documentation and Compliance:
Maintain system configuration standards, security baselines, and change management procedures consistent with information technology processes. Ensure accurate and current documentation for all systems, including architecture diagrams, recovery procedures, and technical inventories. Participate in internal and external audits by providing evidence of compliance with HIPAA and IT security policies. Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning for critical clinical and administrative systems. - Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in Information Technology required.
- Experience in a healthcare setting is strongly preferred.
- In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, a High School Diploma and 5+ years of experience in Information Technology is required.
