Note:
Hybrid schedules are permissible with a minimum of 3 days on-site depending on assignment and can be fully on-site depending on business needs. Remote work privileges can be revoked at any time.
Client does not provide laptops. Instead, Client provides desktops and dedicated workstations which candidates will remote into from their personal equipment on virtual days.
Project Overview
- Business Relationship Manager will mainly be responsible for functions such as planning and prioritization of demand needs, technology innovation intake, business and IT alignment, and communication and relationship building with senior management.
Job Functions & Responsibilities
- Planning and Prioritization:
Understand business needs, identify opportunities, and recommend technology leverage to meet goals. - Collaborate with business leaders to prioritize investments and provide insights to IT leadership.
- Technology Innovation Intake:
Support development of new business capabilities through technology solutions with ROI. - Define business objectives, analyze processes, identify changes, research solutions, and develop cost estimates and ROI documentation.
- Work with committees for approval and align business and IT strategies.
- Engage with senior management, communicate technical info effectively, and build relationships.
- Deliver difficult messages, address challenges, and negotiate solutions.
- Maintain knowledge of business technology, provide technical leadership, and mentor staff.
Skills
- Strategic planning, architecture mastery, understanding of business processes, and excellent communication skills.
Education & Certifications
Bachelor's degree in relevant fields; graduate degree preferred. 7+ years experience in IT or related work, with experience in large-scale systems and utility business knowledge preferred.
