Sr. Business Analyst; Remote

As a Sr. Business Analyst at New Edge Capital Group, you will lead the strategic analysis and delivery of Salesforce-based solutions and Enterprise Systems that support our financial services operations. You’ll serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders, development teams, and external partners, ensuring innovative technical solutions are aligned with business goals, regulatory requirements, and client experience standards.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Salesforce, particularly Financial Services Cloud, Sales Cloud, or Data Cloud as well as a strong understanding of Enterprise Systems and financial workflows. You’ll be responsible for translating complex business needs into scalable, efficient, and compliant solutions that drive operational excellence and digital transformation.

• Acts as the liaison between business stakeholders and the delivery team, ensuring that Salesforce solutions and Enterprise Systems align with business objectives and deliver maximum value.
• Partner with business stakeholders and external partners to understand system requirements and translate into actionable technical specifications.
• Define and document functional requirements for data integration solutions between custodians, third-party software platforms, and internal systems.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to gather feedback, validate requirements, and refine solutions.
• Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and daily standups.
• Provide day-to-day tactical leadership and guidance to a team of Business Analysts, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring alignment with project goals.

• Create detailed technical documentation including requirements gathering, system design (as-is and to-be), data flow, and integration patterns.
• Map and document business processes, identifying areas for improvement and automation.
• Evaluate and recommend technology and third-party solutions to support strategic initiatives.
• Develop proof-of-concept implementations to validate technical approaches.
• Define technical specifications for APIs, microservices, and system interfaces.
• Ensure solutions adhere to enterprise architecture standards, compliance regulations, and security requirements.

• Prepare and deliver presentations to leadership on integration strategies, system roadmaps, and process enhancements.
• Work closely with project managers and product managers to define project scope, timelines, and priorities.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend innovative solutions to optimize business operations and user experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or similar technical role.
• Demonstrated experience with the Salesforce platform, including Financial Services Cloud, Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, or Tableau.
• Proven ability to analyze complex system interactions and design scalable solutions.
  
  Excellence in technical documentation and process modeling.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams involving developers, engineers, and infrastructure teams.
• Outstanding communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Experience in wealth management, fintech, financial services, or banking.
• Experience with major custodial platforms (Fidelity, LPL, Schwab).
• Knowledge of financial data APIs, FIX protocol, and custodian integration patterns.
• Experience with the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence).

Salary: $85,000 – $100,000 base salary, based on experience, plus eligibility to participate in the company’s bonus program.
