Akkodis currently has a Systems Administrator position with a client located in Rochester, NY. This is a hybrid position with onsite and remote work, so the person needs to live within 40 miles of Rochester, NY. No C2C or agencies allowed with this position.

Rate Range: $30.00 to $32.00/hr the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Looking for a Systems Administrator who has experience with Windows Infrastructure, SCCM, Ansible, Power Shell/Automation and Cloud experience. Looking for candidates that are energetic, clever, and not shy about escalating issues. Should have hands-on Systems Administrator experience ideally in medium / large companies with SCCM experience (Support Level 2 and
3), experience working on medium / large datacenters: +200 Server also ideal.

• Develop and maintain documentation of all processes associated with administration of Wintel environments and duties performed by system administrators.
• Work with the Engineering and Operations teams on the development of patches that will be applied to the Production system.
• Assist in developing, maintaining and reviewing complete system documentation.
• Assist in capacity planning, performance monitoring and tuning on assigned systems.
• Perform audits and analysis of application environments for the purpose of ensuring proper configuration management and consistency.
• Work within the Information Technology function, obtaining resources and working in support of objectives and strategies.
• Oversee network/computer resources and installation of new equipment.
• Maintain current knowledge of industry best practices and trends, as well as new developments for the technologies deployed/supported.
• Interact with client management to answer questions, problems and requests regarding complex system issues.
• Assist with team member training and continually look for areas of improvement while providing a high level of service delivery and systems administration.
• Follow ITIL guidelines for Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
• Monitor and tune appropriate systems to ensure optimum level of performance.

• Windows Systems Administrator or Engineer designing, installing, and maintaining Citrix Xenapp, Net Scaler Gateway, Citrix Storefront, or Citrix Director.
• Experience in an environment with complex networking solutions with senior level fundamental knowledge in networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, SNMP).
• Experience managing enterprise level Active Directory Structures.
• Experience creating and maintaining complex Microsoft Group Policy implementations.
