Summary
As a member of the Data Science Center of Expertise (DSCOE), the Data Science Senior Advisor is responsible for leading and enabling initiatives across the enterprise for the Clinical Data Science team. The candidate will have demonstrable aptitude in Data Science, Technical Skills, Leadership, Scoping & Impact, and Ability to Influence. This role will support high-value enterprise-wide initiatives such as the development and operationalization of transformer based deep learning models trained on health insurance data sources.
Responsibilities- Support high-value enterprise Data Science initiatives
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in the area of deep learning
- Create data science specific project goals associated with project deliverables
- Communicate with stakeholders to identify opportunities, goals, solutions, timeline changes and rationale
- Develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with technical and business matrix partners
- Independently delivers clear and well-developed presentations for both technical and business audiences
- Mentor and champion junior Data Science team members via established development programs and on a project-by-project basis
- Strong proficiency in Machine Learning and Statistical Methodology and Practices
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL and version control (e.g., Git)
- Theoretical and practical deep learning expertise building and deploying deep learning models in an enterprise environment
- Proficiency with Tensor Flow and/or Py Torch
- Thorough understanding of ML lifecycle, including necessary tradeoffs and associated risks
- Ability to promote best coding practices, championing a culture of documentation
- Ability to own a project end-to-end e.g., scoping, business value estimation, ideation, dev, prod, timeline
- Ability to work and influence cross functionally with technical and non-technical partners to implement solutions with measurable value
- Healthcare data (e.g., claims, EHR) knowledge preferred

Mbps upload - Salary range: anticipated annual salary of 131,200 – 218,600 USD, depending on factors including experience and geographic location
