JOB DESCRIPTION

SUMMARY:

We’re looking for a Systems Analyst / Service Manager who can expertly support multiple enterprise software applications and act as a senior-level system administrator for key county applications. This role blends deep technical expertise with strong communication, product ownership, and service leadership.

Schedule

SCHEDULE: This position follows a hybrid schedule, working 40 hours per week from Monday to Thursday, with in-office presence required as needed.

Compensation

Hiring Range: $125,000 - $132,000 USD Annually

Compensation will be determined based on education, experience and skills.

Essential Duties
  • Support a portfolio of enterprise software applications, ensuring stability, performance, usability, and strong vendor management.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Lead enhancement planning, backlog prioritization, release management, incident response, and product roadmaps.
  • Champion platform governance, quality assurance, and standardized processes.
  • Manage API integrations, data flows, and cross-system workflows.
  • Apply Agile practices to track work, communicate progress, and deliver solutions.
  • Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives, participates in development including analysis, design, programming, testing and implementation; may develop plans and programs to convert existing data to the new system; determine algorithms and procedures for data conversion; plan and execute integration and acceptance testing; create system documentation and user training materials; determine testing requirements and procedures; deliver training to all levels of users;

    develop plans and programs to convert existing data to new systems.
  • Operates, maintains, troubleshoots and repairs applications to ensure effective and reliable operation; interfaces with internal and external technical resources to resolve issues; determine root causes and implement solutions.
  • Writes and may review document procedures; determine structure, formatting and content of documentation.
  • Evaluates new and existing hardware/software solutions, determining feasibility and cost; understand system components to ensure high performance, reliable, scalable applications that meet county needs.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience: At least three years of systems administration experience with the installation and maintenance of systems for a significantly sized local enterprise.

Education: Bachelor’s in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or Information Technology or equivalent technical training specific to system administration.

Desired License/

Certifications:

MCSA, MCSE, MCSM, MCITP or MCTS (Exchange or Windows Server Highly Desired)

Preferred knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Industry-specific Knowledge:
    Systems analysis ranked 1st
  • SQL development (SSIS / SSRS) ranked 2nd
