• Design, build, and operate shared cloud and networking platforms for a modern, service-oriented architecture
• Improve system reliability, observability, security, and scalability through automation and standards

• Build and maintain golden paths for deploying and operating services safely
• Participate in operating production systems, including on-call rotation and incident response

• Experience in designing, developing, or operating cloud and infrastructure platforms
• Hands-on experience running production workloads on AWS, including using Terraform or similar tools
• Experience with Kubernetes (EKS) and containerized workloads
• Familiarity with observability practices and tools, such as Datadog
• Ability to write and maintain automation or tooling in Go, Python, or Bash

• Experience designing or operating service networking and routing tools like Cilium, Envoy, or Kong
• A thoughtful approach to engineering craftsmanship, including clean abstractions and readable code
• Comfort in collaborating across teams and explaining infrastructure and networking concepts clearly
