Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience in Word Press development (in-house, agency, or consulting)
• Strong expertise in Word Press, PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, including debugging and troubleshooting
• Proven experience in building responsive designs and conducting QA across various devices and browsers
• Ability to work from predetermined strategies and design directives, meeting deadlines with minimal revisions
• Strong organizational skills with a focus on keeping comprehensive records of billable time and changes
• Excellent communication skills and adherence to a client-ready standard for deliverables
• Experience in integrating payment processors such as Clover or Worldline with Word Press
• Familiarity with domain setups for websites and email accounts
• Experience with website and email migrations from existing systems
• Preferred skills include:
  Experience with Woo Commerce and multilingual website setups with third-party integrations (CRM, email, analytics, API)
• Advanced knowledge of Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) and experience with Flatsomes UX Builder and child themes
• Understanding of performance optimization techniques and Core Web Vitals improvements
• Awareness of accessibility standards (WCAG basics) and ability to address common accessibility challenges
• Familiarity with managed Word Press hosting services and deployment processes
• Knowledge of SEO tools and analytics, including GA4 and GTM, and basic event tracking implementation

• Oversee the management, updates, and optimization of our internal company website
• Keep Word Press core, themes, and plugins current while adhering to change control practices and testing protocols
• Apply security best practices, including limited access configurations, secure admin setups, and regular backups
• Monitor performance metrics and Core Web Vitals; enhance images, caching, and scripts to ensure quick load times
• Rapidly diagnose issues, document causes, and address bugs to minimize downtime
• Update website content, landing pages, and conversion-focused designs as per leadership instructions
• Ensure an organized site structure, correct redirects, and fundamental SEO practices
• Configure and personalize themes, child themes, and page builders while keeping the codebase manageable
• Install and set up vetted plugins for various functionalities like forms, analytics, security, backups, and integrations
• Develop reusable components to streamline content updates
• Assist in client website construction and landing page creation as needed
• Implement responsive designs and conduct quality assurance across different devices and browsers
• Enforce SEO and accessibility best practices in client outputs
• Uphold white-label standards to present client deliverables under our branding
• Accurately track time and maintain organized documentation for project handoffs
• Communicate project status and concerns promptly, raising blockers and dependencies proactively
• Engage in team check-ins and address feedback in a professional manner
• Collaborate with SEO and Google Ads agencies, enacting necessary adjustments per their guidelines
