14220 - Senior DB2 Administrator (onsite) – Tallahassee, FL

Start Date: ASAP

Type: Temporary Project

Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extensions

Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client’s site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client.

• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Tallahassee, FL (required);
• Combined experience in database administration for the following platforms: SQL Server 2008R2, 2012, and Oracle 10g and above (15+ years);
• Experience with JCL;
• Experience with z/OS integrated platform, CA GEN model management, ISPF, ASG Scheduler, and COBOL;
• Experience with DB2 for z/OS database and z/OS software monitoring tools;
• Experience with z/OS started task creation and management, IBI z/OS service support, AFOPER commands, RACF, CICS, and IOF;
• Experience with technical requirements of Disaster Recovery;
• Experience with Oracle application integration, performance management, and database administration;
• Experience with MSSQL application integration, performance management, and database administration;
• Experience with z/OS EXITS, BJS, Windows Servers, SSMS, SSRS, SSIS, and Azure.

• Experience with Client’s integrated database infrastructure;
• Experience with Client’s Financial Management applications;
• Experience with Client’s integrated application environment.

• Perform daily operational and database administration activities;
• Plan, design, implement, and support database structures;
• Conduct database performance monitoring and tuning;
• Develop and maintain database administration procedures and documentation;
• Perform SQL Code reviews;
• Be able to understand and demonstrate the ability to develop database and warehousing design across multiple platforms and computing environments;
• Work as part of a team to assist in developing an overall data architecture. Assist with training and mentoring other technical staff.
