Genesis
10 is currently seeking an Associate Business Systems Analyst for an 8+ month contract position with our client located in Eagan, MN. This position is 100% remote.

Pay range: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour

The Associate Business Systems Analyst (BSA) is a junior-level role, supporting the Interface Management team by assisting with the analysis, documentation, and improvement of business and IT systems. This position is ideal for someone early in their career who is eager to learn, willing to jump in, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

The analyst will help support system integrations, workflows, and process improvements across 30 government and commercial clients. Analysts are not dedicated to a single project and must be flexible in supporting multiple initiatives at once.

• Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements from business units and clients
• Translate requirements into clear documentation for developers and technical teams
• Assist with reviewing system capabilities, workflows, file mappings, and integration processes
• Support cost-benefit and return-on-investment analysis for system or process changes
• Coordinate with internal IT and business teams to improve system compatibility and data sharing
• Attend requirements sessions and client meetings alongside senior analysts
• Document processes, procedures, and operational workflows
• Perform basic SQL queries (e.g., using tools such as Toad) for validation and analysis
• Support initiatives related to F6 (new coding standards) and Medi-Cal-related work, as needed
• Take on necessary busy work and administrative tasks while gaining exposure to more complex analysis

• Technical aptitude and curiosity about systems, data, and integrations
• Ability to manage time, prioritize work, and function independently with guidance
• Proactive mindset - initiative, drive, flexibility, and willingness to learn are critical
• Prior success in this role has shown that attitude, collaboration, and motivation can outweigh depth of experience. Personality, curiosity, and work ethic are highly valued.

• 2-4 years of relevant experience as an IT Analyst, Business IT Analyst, ITA, or similar role
• Candidates with less experience may be considered if they demonstrate strong initiative and learning ability
• Experience with SQL or data querying preferred (basic level acceptable)
• Healthcare, government, or system integration experience is a plus but not required
