DUTIES:
Responsible for 24x7 operations, administration and maintenance of server infrastructure in AT&T’s NC (Network Cloud) Linux based environment. Perform deployment of software updates on this cloud platform comprised of Linux OS, BIOS/ firmware, Open Stack, Kubernetes, Calico, Ceph, Maria DB and other software components. Perform work focusing on software, maintenance, and operations of systems used by AT&T or its clients to conduct business.

Perform feasibility assessments, creates requirements, manages projects, and integrates and tests technical solutions for software. Utilize Linux, KVM, Open Stack, Kubernetes, Containers, Cloud Infrastructure platforms and monitoring of the server Infrastructure. Use trouble-shooting and analytical skills in Systems Administration of Linux, Cloud, Open Stack and Kubernetes environment. Operate and maintain Open Stack modules including Keystone, Nova, Neutron, Swift, Cinder, Heat, Glance, Horizon, and Fuel.

Utilize knowledge in High Availability, DRS, Fault Tolerance, Scalability, Reliability, shared resources. Create, review, approve, and implement changes in NC server environment. Restore applications/services in NC infrastructure from hardware/ Open Stack/ OS perspective in outage / service degradation scenarios. Use programing language including Python & shell scripting. Deploy NC Server infrastructure (Linux, Open Stack and Kubernetes). Apply understanding of CI/CD Pipeline in Jenkins, Git Hub.

Coordinate with OS vendors, development teams, production support teams for root cause analysis, configuration changes. Coordinate with hardware vendors (Dell, HP) for faulty Hardware replacement.

REQUIREMENTS:
Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Applied Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or Computer Science and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience in a related occupation utilizing Linux, KVM, Open Stack, Kubernetes, Containers, Cloud Infrastructure platforms and monitoring of the server Infrastructure; using trouble-shooting and analytical skills in Systems Administration of Linux, Cloud, Open Stack and Kubernetes environment;

operating and maintaining of Open Stack modules including Keystone, Nova, Neutron, Swift, Cinder, Heat, Glance, Horizon, and Fuel; utilizing knowledge in High Availability, DRS, Fault Tolerance, Scalability, Reliability, shared resources; creating, reviewing, approving, and implementing changes in NC server environment; restoring applications/services in NC infrastructure from hardware/ Open Stack/ OS perspective in outage / service degradation scenarios; using programing language including Python & shell scripting;
