Data Analyst, Business Systems/ Tech Analyst, Data Science Manager
SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Senior eCommerce Business Analyst delivers advanced analytics and actionable insights to drive growth, efficiency, and profitability across all eCommerce channels. This role leverages complex, fragmented data sources to build dashboards and inform decision-making for sales, marketing, supply chain, and P&L optimization. The analyst partners with cross-functional teams to enable digital transformation and reimagine how AI is used and deployed, defining approaches to integrate AI/ML solutions across business processes.
Strong communication skills and the ability to make data actionable through storytelling and visualizations are essential.

- Aggregate and analyze large datasets from multiple eCommerce platforms; design and maintain dashboards and visualizations using Microsoft Fabric, Tableau, and related tools.
- Drive descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive insights to inform business strategy and operational decisions, integrating AI/ML solutions across business processes.
- Translate analytic insights into concrete, actionable recommendations for business or product improvement, making data actionable through strong storytelling and visual communication.
- Collaborate with eCommerce, marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to identify business opportunities, risks, and process improvements.
- Develop and automate recurring and ad hoc reports, ensuring data accuracy and relevance.
- Monitor industry trends, competitive benchmarks, and emerging analytics technologies; communicate insights and best practices.
- Champion the adoption of advanced analytics methodologies and digital tools across the organization.
- Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to optimize data pipelines and support scalable analytics solutions.
- Support global eCommerce initiatives and provide insights across international markets.
- Analyze market share and leverage vendor tools such as Stackline, as needed.

- Strong business acumen with the ability to connect data insights to strategic and operational business outcomes.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, digitally driven environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in eCommerce reporting, including POS, advertising, supply chain, and P&L analytics.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree blending Business and Data Analytics, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, MS in Analytics, etc.) highly desired.
- 5+ years of experience in eCommerce analytics, business intelligence, or data science, with a proven track record in high-volume, complex environments.
- Strong programming skills including R, Python, SQL, etc.
- Advanced proficiency in cloud-based data platforms and analytics tools (e.g., Microsoft Fabric, Tableau).
- Direct experience working with Amazon is highly preferred; experience with is highly preferred. Must demonstrate ability to expand expertise to additional customers and platforms.
- Ability to travel (up to 15%) as needed for business reviews and enterprise initiatives.
