We are seeking a skilled and experienced Microsoft 365 Engineer to support our clients through the design, implementation, and optimization of Microsoft 365 services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working as a consultant or within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment, with proven success in delivering secure, scalable solutions aligned with the Microsoft Zero Trust framework.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Microsoft 365 implementations, migrations, and modernization efforts.
- Assess customer environments and design secure, Zero Trust–aligned M365 architectures.
- Deploy and support services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Intune, Defender, Entra , and Purview.
- Manage identity and access controls (CA Policy, MFA, RBAC, hybrid identity).
- Monitor and administer M365 using security, compliance, and admin centers.
- Conduct and implement Microsoft 365 governance frameworks.
- Partner with security/infrastructure teams to integrate M365 with cloud and on-prem systems.
- Track roadmap changes and communicate impacts and recommendations.
- Provide documentation, training, and technical support.
- Maintain work items and delivery status in Azure Dev Ops.
- Ensure environments remain secure, compliant, and aligned with best practices.
- Document cloud architectures, processes, and procedures.
- Respond to incidents and support requests.
- Identify opportunities to adopt new services and improve productivity.
- Participate in training and knowledge-sharing activities.
Skills and Qualifications
- 3+ years supporting Microsoft 365 in consulting or MSP environments.
- Strong expertise in M365 architecture, security, compliance, and automation.
- Experience implementing Zero Trust–aligned security and governance controls.
- Solid understanding of identity and security features in Microsoft Entra .
- Knowledge of M365 licensing and tenant-level configuration.
- Excellent communication, customer engagement, and documentation skills.
- Strong problem-solving and project management capabilities.
- Proficiency with Power Shell scripting and automation.
- Familiarity with Defender for Cloud Apps, Microsoft Sentinel, and Purview DLP.
- Microsoft certifications preferred (e.g., SC-300, MD-102).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude.

- Proactive in identifying risks, issues, and opportunities for improvement.

CompensationOur compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position is between $80,000 up to $110,000 annually, plus up to a 10% bonus. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is based on several factors including market location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training, as well as Inviso’s differing lines of business.
