We’re looking for a Senior Solution Architect with deep Databricks and AWS experience to lead the design of scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions. This is a senior, hands-on architecture role with strong ownership over technical decisions and client-facing impact.
What You’ll Do
- Design end-to-end data architectures on AWS, with Databricks at the core
- Own architectural decisions across data pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and platform integrations
- Translate complex business and product requirements into robust, scalable technical solutions
- Define standards, patterns, and best practices for building with PySpark, Python, SQL, and Databricks
- Act as a technical leader and advisor for engineering teams
- Collaborate closely with product, data, and engineering stakeholders to ensure architectural alignment and long-term scalability
- Review designs and implementations to ensure performance, security, reliability, and cost efficiency
What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in data engineering, solution architecture, or related roles
- Proven experience designing enterprise-grade data platforms and architectures
- Deep, hands-on expertise with: Databricks (production and architectural experience required), AWS, PySpark, Python and SQL
- Strong understanding of:
Distributed data systems, Cloud-native architecture principles and Data modeling and integration patterns - Excellent communication skills and ability to work directly with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Fluent English, both written and spoken
Salary range: $75,000 - $140,000 annually, with final compensation determined by your qualifications, expertise, experience, and the role's scope.
Location:
This is a fully remote position; however, candidates must be based in regions that align with the Pacific, Central, or Eastern U.S. time zones to ensure effective collaboration with client and team schedules.

This is a full-time position requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
