We are currently seeking a highly capable, experienced, and results-driven Digital Marketing Associate. This independent contractor position offers flexibility and the opportunity to work remotely, with a preference for candidates located near Colorado Springs, Colorado.
We are looking for someone who thrives in a small business, virtual setting and is able to manage digital marketing execution for multiple clients with consistency, strategic thinking, and excellence.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe specific tasks may vary depending on client needs and organizational priorities. Responsibilities typically include, but are not limited to:
- Word Press Management:
- Publishing and editing website content primarily using Elementor
- Updating existing pages and creating new pages
- Managing blog posts, landing pages, and site copy
- Ensuring site pages are optimized for user experience, conversions, and SEO
- Executing site updates and client requests based on priorities set by our Project Coordinator
- Basic troubleshooting and quality assurance (broken links, formatting issues, mobile responsiveness)
- Assisting with light social media strategy, scheduling, and posting across multiple client accounts
- Executing email marketing campaigns and sequences
- Tracking and reporting on website traffic, engagement, and conversion performance
- Collaborating with our Project Coordinator to align marketing efforts with client goals and timelines
- Identifying opportunities for performance improvement based on data and analytics
- Self-motivated, proactive, and reliable
- Highly responsive and communicative
- Organized and highly detail-oriented
- Goal-oriented with a strong drive to meet and exceed expectations
- Committed to quality, consistency, and professionalism
- Positive and adaptable, with a calm demeanor under pressure
- Comfortable both leading initiatives and supporting others as needed
- 3–5 years of experience in digital marketing, preferably supporting multiple clients or brands
- Demonstrated success working in a virtual or remote environment
- Proven ability to manage Word Press sites, particularly using Elementor
- Experience in social media posting across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Linked In, etc.)
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Send Grid, etc.)
- Working knowledge of SEO principles and best practices
- Experience tracking and interpreting analytics (Google Analytics, Google Business Profile, Meta Insights, etc.)
- Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including spelling, grammar, and editing proficiency
- Organization: Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Discretion: Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism
- Team Collaboration: Works effectively both independently and as part of a support team
- Initiative: Demonstrates foresight and the ability to anticipate needs
- Technologically Proficient:
Experience with platforms like Word Press, Elementor, Mailchimp, Google Analytics, SE Ranking, Meta, Microsoft Office, Asana, chat
GPT, Gemini, Claude, etc., is ideal. However, the ability to learn new tech quickly is a must. Preference for Apple users.
Competitive hourly rate or monthly retainer based on experience.
Additional RequirementsThe selected candidate will be required to sign a non-solicitation agreement and confidentiality agreement as part of the contracting process.
