Job Description
  • The Ecommerce Project Manager leads the planning, execution, and delivery of industrial ecommerce initiatives across a small, high‑impact team.
  • This role requires a strong blend of traditional Project Management discipline and hands‑on Scrum Master leadership, ensuring predictable delivery across multiple concurrent work streams.
  • The ideal candidate brings deep ecommerce experience, strong business analysis skills, and the ability to coordinate across IT, SAP, manufacturing, and external partners.
  • This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a manufacturing environment where ecommerce depends on accurate ERP data, complex pricing logic, product configuration, and order‑to‑cash workflows.
Responsibilities
  • Lead end‑to‑end ecommerce project delivery using both Waterfall and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Serve as Scrum Master for a team of three developers, running daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
  • Manage multiple Scrum and Kanban boards to maintain visibility, prioritization, and predictable delivery.
  • Solicit, document, and validate business requirements from stakeholders across ecommerce, IT, manufacturing, operations, and customer service.
  • Perform business analysis to translate requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications.
  • Coordinate with third‑party vendors to ensure alignment on scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with internal IT departments including SAP, infrastructure, security, integrations, and data teams.
  • Conduct ecommerce QA testing including functional testing, data validation, SAP integration checks, and workflow verification.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Run reports and analyze project and platform data to support decision‑making and continuous improvement.
  • Manage risks, issues, and cross‑team dependencies with proactive communication and structured follow‑up.
  • Ensure high‑quality delivery through testing coordination, acceptance criteria validation, and post‑launch monitoring.
  • Support SAP‑related ecommerce integrations, including pricing, inventory, product data, and order workflows.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project processes, documentation, and team operations.
Skills & Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of ecommerce experience in B2B, industrial, or manufacturing environments.
  • 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master in an IT or software development environment.
  • 5 years of Project Management experience using Waterfall, especially for structured or cross‑functional initiatives
  • Experience working with SAP Commerce Cloud
  • Manufacturing or industrial background strongly preferred due to the complexity of product data, pricing, and fulfillment.
  • Strong business analysis skills, including requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder facilitation.
  • Experience coordinating with third‑party vendors and cross‑functional IT teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple boards, projects, and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non‑technical audiences.

Preferred

Skills:

  • Familiarity with B2B ecommerce platforms such as SAP Commerce Cloud, Magento, Optimizely, or custom industrial platforms.
  • Understanding of APIs, integrations, and data flows between ERP, PIM, CRM, and ecommerce systems.
  • Experience with QA processes including functional testing, regression testing, and UAT coordination.
  • Ability to create clear documentation including requirements, user stories, test plans, and process flows.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and recommend improvements.
  • Experience in change management for digital or ecommerce initiatives.
