Join the team — E-commerce & Digital Platform Manager

We are looking for an E-commerce & Digital Platform Manager who can turn complex product data and platform structures into stable operations and strong digital experiences. The position is based in Copenhagen.

Are you strong at the intersection of digital platforms, complex product data, and user experience? As E-commerce & Digital Platform Manager at Montana Furniture, you will take on a central specialist role with responsibility for the day-to-day operation and technical development of our digital platform and e-commerce setup. You thrive on technical maintenance, structured workflows, and data-driven solutions — and you see complex product logic, variants, and configurations as an exciting professional challenge.

Experience from, or interest in, the furniture and interior design industry is considered an advantage.

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Digital Experience, you will be responsible for the daily operation and technical development of Montana’s brand and e-commerce website. The role focuses primarily on the technical aspects of the e-commerce platform, product data, and the relationship between systems, structure, and user experience. The position requires close and ongoing coordination with the Digital Business Development department, which works across Montana’s broader system landscape (including ERP, PIM, CRM, and integration architecture).

You will play a key role in ensuring coherence between the website, product data, configurations, and the underlying business systems.

Primary areas of responsibility
  • Daily operation and technical maintenance of the website (CMS: Optimizely)
  • Responsibility for the structure, quality, and consistency of product data in relation to the CMS (PIM: Perfion)
  • Management of complex product variants, data logic, and configurations
  • Collaboration on configurators and generation of product data (including via London Dynamics)
  • Close, daily collaboration with Digital Business Development on system integrations, data quality, and overall system coherence
  • Collaboration with web agencies and technical vendors, including coordination of development tasks and incident management
  • Monitoring site performance, stability, and key KPIs, including ongoing reporting and input for decision-making
  • Identifying and implementing technical and structural improvements that enhance the user experience
  • Cross-functional coordination between platform, product data, configurations, and internal teams

Digital marketing is included in the role to a limited extent, primarily in relation to:

  • Performance overview
  • SEO and conversion understanding
  • The interaction between traffic, content, and site structure
Organisational context

The role is part of the Digital team, consisting of three specialised profiles and anchored within Marketing. You will work closely with the Content Manager, who is responsible for the editorial content of the site. The team is led by the Head of Digital Experience, who oversees the overall digital direction across platform, content, and e-commerce. The Marketing department is led by the Brand & Marketing Director and consists of nine people in total.

The department spans disciplines such as Creative, PR, Academy, and Spatial, with Digital as a focused area of expertise within a broader marketing and brand organisation.

We imagine that you:
  • Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience with e-commerce, websites, or digital platforms
  • Are technically strong and thrive in operations, maintenance, and complex data structures
  • Have solid experience with CMS and PIM systems (e.g. Optimizely and Perfion or similar)
  • Have worked with product data, variant management, and structured catalogues
  • Understand the interaction between UX, content, data, and conversion
  • Are a strong coordinator in collaboration with external vendors
  • Work analytically and structured with performance and continuous improvements
  • Have experience with or an understanding of CRM and data-driven processes
  • Communicate confidently in Danish and English
