Enterprise Architect

We’re looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to provide strategic technology leadership and help modernize how we deliver solutions across the enterprise. In this role, you’ll align architecture strategy with business goals, lead cloud and application modernization, and enable AI‑driven innovation—while ensuring security, resilience, and regulatory compliance.

You’ll partner closely with business and IT leaders to design scalable, cloud‑first solutions that support underwriting, claims, policy administration, and customer engagement across the organization.

Preference will be given to candidates able to work in a hybrid capacity between our Home Office in Enumclaw, WA, and remotely. Fully remote candidates will be required to travel to the Home Office 25% of the time.

• Define and evolve our enterprise architecture vision, standards, and roadmap.
• Lead cloud adoption and application modernization initiatives.
• Design secure, scalable architectures using modern patterns (microservices, APIs, event‑driven).
• Enable AI/ML platforms and responsible AI governance.
• Guide architecture governance, technology selection, and proof‑of‑concept development.
• Mentor architects and technical leaders across teams.

• 10+ years of IT experience, including enterprise or solution architecture leadership.
• Strong cloud architecture experience (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP).
• Hands‑on knowledge of Dev Ops, CI/CD, containers, and automation.
• Experience modernizing legacy systems and reducing application complexity.
• Ability to communicate architectural strategy to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Insurance or financial services experience is a strong plus.

Salary Range: $179,900 - $219,200
