Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Product Manager to oversee and optimize the performance of our client’s product offerings in the US market. This role is perfect for a technical leader with deep knowledge of quarry equipment, including crushing, grinding, and screening systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the lifecycle of products, ensuring that customer needs are met, and that the equipment’s technical specifications align with market demands.
This is a strategic role that involves collaboration with sales, engineering, and sourcing teams to drive product innovation and ensure effective deployment of new technologies and equipment solutions in the quarry and aggregates sectors.
Key Responsibilities- Product Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of equipment products, from development to delivery, ensuring alignment with market needs and customer requirements.
- Technical Expertise: Provide technical leadership in crushing, grinding, and screening equipment, helping to design and improve products that meet market demands.
- Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to understand customer pain points, emerging trends, and competitor offerings in the aggregates and quarry sectors.
- Collaboration with Sales Teams: Work closely with the sales team to develop product positioning strategies, marketing materials, and sales support tools.
- Customer Relationship Management: Serve as the key technical contact for clients, assisting with product selection, technical support, and troubleshooting.
- New Product Development: Partner with R&D and engineering teams to develop and launch new equipment solutions tailored to the needs of the US market.
- Product Training: Provide training and technical support to sales teams and dealers to ensure they are knowledgeable about product features, benefits, and technical specifications.
- Quality Control: Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure that products meet high-quality standards and are delivered in a timely manner.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years in product management or technical management, with a focus on quarry equipment (crushing, grinding, screening) or related industrial equipment.
- Technical Expertise: Strong technical background in quarry equipment and aggregates, including an understanding of product specifications and performance metrics.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex technical problems and propose solutions to meet customer needs and business objectives.
- Leadership: Proven ability to collaborate across departments (sales, engineering, production) and lead cross-functional teams.
- Mobility: Ability and willingness to travel frequently within the United States to engage with customers, dealers, and attend industry events.
- Languages: Fluency in English is required.
