Job Summary
Tines is looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer to join our pre-sales team. You will partner with Account Executives and sales leadership to evangelize Tines SaaS solutions and educate customers on the business value of no-code automation. You will demonstrate how Tines can work with existing technology stacks to perform simple or complex automation without coding or lengthy integration work. You will understand customers’ business pains and outcomes and show how Tines can help achieve those outcomes.
What you will be doing:
- Develop deep knowledge of Tines no-code automation and apply it to security & IT operations challenges
- Create and deliver presentations to prospective customers and key alliance partners, communicating value and differentiation
- Build and demo Tines Stories with customers to show value and win sales
- Manage the technical decision process with customers, including proof of concepts and evaluations
- Collaborate with Sales to identify key use cases and support competitive account strategies
- Support enablement of priority channel and technical alliance partners and assist their pre-sales engineers
- Provide market feedback to product management
- Contribute to knowledge base with customer experiences, insights, and new automation stories
- Support SE operations and metrics development across teams
Senior-Level Responsibilities
- Drive strategic direction for sales engineering in the NAMER region
- Mentor and guide other sales engineers to foster growth
- Represent Tines at industry events and establish thought leadership in automation
- Lead design and implementation of complex automation solutions for high-profile customers
- Collaborate with product management, marketing, and engineering to influence roadmaps
- Act as a senior advocate for key customers and drive process improvements
What you bring with you:
- 8+ years in pre-sales/sales engineering or technology delivery at a SaaS company
- Strong technical background with APIs and a willingness to learn new cloud technologies
- Security and/or IT industry experience
- Ability to uncover customer needs and deliver compelling demos
- Experience communicating with business and technical audiences
- Enjoy learning, open to feedback, and focused on customer success
- Project management skills and ability to deliver customer solutions
- Analytical skills to derive actionable insights from data
- Startup mindset and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
Compensation
:
Target Annual Compensation (salary + commission): $225-250k OTE
