Job DescriptionHPE Networking delivers AI‑native solutions from edge to data center. We provide security‑first, AI‑powered campus and branch connectivity through wireless access points, switching, and SD‑WAN, creating seamless digital work spaces. In the data center and cloud, we deliver high‑performance fabric architectures for demanding AI workloads. Unified by AIOps, automation, and built‑in security, our solutions give organizations the combined power of compute, context, control, and secure connectivity.
We are looking for a Pre‑Sales Systems Engineer who will provide technical support for complex solutions, manage pre‑sales technical/functional support, and ensure customer satisfaction. The SE will collaborate with Territory Managers, qualify opportunities, and convert leads into successful engagements, emphasizing campus and distributed branch networks.
Typical Day- Creating and defining a Technological Strategy for pre‑assigned clients, focusing on HPE Networking priorities.
- Creating and documenting technology solutions and proposals to meet customer business requirements.
- Implementing and supporting Proof of Concept engagements to demonstrate HPE solutions' value.
- Maintaining knowledge of competitive offerings to strategically position HPE products.
- Interfacing with internal and external experts to anticipate customer needs and facilitate solution development.
- Participating in proposal development and supporting the technical aspects of deal closure in complex and competitive situations.
- Understanding the HPE channel and building relationships with partners to increase channel sales.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, or significant networking and pre‑sales experience.
- Minimum 4+ years of technical professional pre‑sales/post‑sales experience.
- Extensive experience in networking, including routing, switching, Wi‑Fi, security, SASE, and Network Management platforms.
- Holding specific networking certifications (HPE, Aruba, Juniper, Cisco, etc.).
- Experience in network access security (HPE Aruba Clearpass, Juniper Access Assurance, Cisco ISE, Fire Eye, etc.).
- Capability to create solution sales offerings spanning multiple product and service portfolios.
- Effective, articulate communicator with strong customer‑facing skills and ability to translate product knowledge into business value.
- Team‑oriented, customer‑first approach toward business plan execution.
