Job DescriptionWe are looking for a strategic and collaborative Senior Project Manager
, to lead the development and implementation of large, complex, multi-platform technology initiatives. In this role you will take projects from original concept to successful application by defining project scope and objectives, analyzing project requirements, identifying resources, and determining the best approach for completion.
- Proactively managing changes in project scope, identify potential risks, and devise contingency plans
- Developing new approaches and employing existing plans, to create detailed work strategies, schedules, project estimates, budget management and status reports, ensuring a smooth transition to operations
- Drafting and submitting budget proposals and recommending subsequent budget changes
- Determining and assessing requests for additional staff and/or contractors, working with outside service providers as needed to complete technology projects
- Facilitating cross functional teams within OIT, customer organizations and vendors
- Conducting post-mortem project assessment, suggesting process or procedures improvements
- Coaching, mentoring, and motivating project team members and contractors, influencing them to take positive action and accountability for assigned work
- Managing relationships across OIT, customers and vendors, cultivating a thorough understanding of core business functions and alignment with business objectives
- This is a skills-based job announcement. The required minimum qualifications and/or education (if substituting for the proven experience, knowledge, and skills), are as follows:
- A minimum of eight (8) years experience that includes a combination of IT and IT project management for large, complex projects and/or project portfolio management, which demonstrates strong relationship building and management skills, collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience leveraging tools such as Tableau or BI to make data driven decisions using a variety of project management tools and methodologies.
- Business processes and mapping of business functions to services.
- Defining and executing large, complex technology programs.
- Solid understanding of change management and ability to lead and influence cross functional teams and stakeholders.

- If the minimum qualifications include a degree requirement, additional appropriate paid or unpaid experience will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
- Relevant IT certifications (e.g. Scrum, ITIL, ADKAR, Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
- PMP Certification.
