Design Support Engineer – REMOTE

In this role, you will be instrumental in architecting and managing advanced Dev Sec Ops  tool chains, automating infrastructure workflows, and driving platform innovations that enhance developer productivity within a global engineering team. Your contributions will significantly impact the development infrastructure for a portfolio of Assurance Products that support telecommunication networks around the world.

• Research and evaluate emerging Dev Ops tools and technologies.
• Manage R&D tools budget for software and network engineering.
• Define and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies.
• Drive process improvements and automation for developer workflows.
• Administer enterprise Dev Ops toolchain including various tools.
• Maintain system security and perform version upgrades.
• Design and deploy automated OS installation systems.
• Monitor system performance and optimize resource allocation.
• Provide tier 2/3 support for developer tooling requests.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with development teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 5 years of Dev Ops experience.
• Expert-level Linux system administration skills.
• Strong scripting and automation skills, particularly in Python and Bash.
• Hands‑on experience with Atlassian suite administration.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with CI/CD principles.
• Experience with virtual environments and Linux networking.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work globally.
