If so, Cyber Centaurs is looking for atalented and motivated individual to join our team as a Junior Associate in the field of digital forensics. This position isperfect for recent graduates with a strong educational background in computer science, digital forensics, or related disciplines, and ahigh aptitude for learning and problem-solving.
Requirements- Assist senior team members in conducting digital forensic investigations, including analyzing digital evidence, identifying security breaches, and providing actionable recommendations.
- Utilize industry-standard tools and techniques to collect, preserve, and analyze digital evidence from a variety of sources, including computers, mobile devices, and networks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the nature of security incidents and develop strategies for incident response.
- Participate in the creation of detailed technical reports and documentation to communicate findings, analysis, and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in digital forensics, cybersecurity, and related technologies, and share your insights with the team.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of internal processes and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Digital Forensics, Information Security, or a related field.
- High aptitude for learning, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
- Relevant industry certifications, such as Certified Digital Forensics Examiner (CDFE), CompTIA Security+, or equivalent, is a plus.
- Strong understanding of operating systems, file systems, networking, and cybersecurity concepts.
- Familiarity with digital forensic tools and software (e.g., EnCase, FTK, X-Ways, etc.).
- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python or Bash is a bonus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
