Systems Analyst
Overview
Our client is a nationally recognized health system in Southwest Virginia. As an Epic Analyst II, you will configure, document, test, and enhance Epic workflows to support clinical excellence across Healthy Planet, Compass Rose, and other modules.
Responsibilities- Analyze and design Epic applications, creating requirements, specifications, configuration, documentation, testing plans, and implementation.
- Provide Epic and non‑Epic application support, troubleshooting, training, and reporting.
- Liaise with Epic module teams, vendors, and TSG groups.
- Plan and conduct requirements gathering, design sessions, and detailed analyses of client business needs.
- Mentor teammates on issue resolution, knowledge transfer, and best practices.
- Develop reference materials such as status reports, documentation, and knowledge‑transfer artifacts.
- Manage assigned projects, meet deadlines, and execute complex work independently.
- Adhere to departmental policies, change‑management procedures, and organizational standards.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Epic Healthy Planet certification required;
Compass Rose (or other outpatient) certifications preferred. - Minimum 2 years of Epic experience (4+ years preferred); hands‑on support of Healthy Planet and Compass Rose workflows.
- Experience in ambulatory environments and Epic integration points.
- Track record of process improvement in technical healthcare systems.
- Analytical, structured, systems‑oriented mindset with strong data‑analysis and workflow‑refinement skills.
- Excellent communication skills, clarity, logic, and the ability to prioritize, execute, and self‑direct.
- Team player with high standards for documentation and build precision.
- Pay range: $90,000 – $115,000 per year.

Hours:
Monday‑Friday, 8:00‑5:00 pm (overtime as required). Full‑time benefits included.
