Job SummaryWe’re seeking a detail-oriented SEM Support Analyst to assist our Paid Media team with day-to-day campaign monitoring, reporting, and optimization support. This role is ideal for someone early-to-mid in their paid search career who is comfortable working in Google Ads and analytics platforms, enjoys digging into performance data, and thrives in a structured, process-driven environment.
You’ll work closely with SEM strategists, account managers, and operations to ensure campaigns are paced correctly, data is accurate, and insights are clearly communicated. While this role offers flexibility, availability during normal U.S. daytime business hours is strongly preferred to support collaboration and reporting cycles.
This position begins as a 1099 contractor with the opportunity to grow into expanded responsibilities as the department scales.
ResponsibilitiesCampaign Monitoring & Performance
- Monitor daily performance metrics including CPC, CTR, CPA, ROAS, and conversions.
- Identify performance trends, anomalies, and pacing issues across accounts.
- Flag underperforming campaigns or sudden data changes for escalation.
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare dashboards and recurring performance reports for internal teams and clients.
- Assist with weekly and monthly reporting using Looker Studio, Tableau, or similar tools.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across platforms.
Keyword & Competitive Research
- Conduct keyword research to support campaign builds and optimizations.
- Assist with competitive analysis and search landscape reviews.
- Support negative keyword research and search term analysis.
Campaign Support
- Assist with bid management, budget pacing, and ad testing initiatives.
- Support A/B testing of ad copy, extensions, and landing page variations.
- Ensure campaigns follow platform policies and internal best practices.
Tracking & QA
- Troubleshoot tracking issues and data discrepancies across Google Ads, GA4, and call tracking platforms.
- Assist with audits, QA checks, and platform migrations.
- Validate conversion tracking and tagging setups in collaboration with technical teams.
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Coordinate with account managers, strategists, creative, and SEO teams.
- Document processes, workflows, and findings to support operational improvements.
- Maintain organized notes and documentation within internal systems.
Experience with the following is required or strongly preferred:
- Google Ads
- Microsoft Advertising
- Google Analytics (GA4)
- Looker Studio and/or Tableau
- Google Sheets / Excel
- Call tracking platforms (e.g., Call Tracking Metrics )
- Google Tag Manager (basic familiarity)
- CRM integrations and conversion uploads
- Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or lead‑generation campaigns
- 1–3 years of hands‑on experience supporting paid search or SEM campaigns.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data.
- High attention to detail and comfort working with large datasets.
- Solid understanding of paid search fundamentals and auction‑based media.
- Ability to follow documented processes and contribute to improving them.
- Strong communication skills and responsiveness in a remote environment.
- Reliable availability during standard business hours for collaboration.
