Mission Planning Support Engineer - Mac Dill Pay Rate

The annual base salary range for this position $70,000 - 92,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. The Mission Planning Support Engineer will troubleshoot the Mission Planning Environment and hardware and explain solutions to users.

• Provides user support for numerous devices and maintain updated software/hardware configurations.
• Trains users on mission planning and execution software applications.
• Maintains network servers and client computers with current imagery.
• Provides local and remote support for IT systems and the software associated with these systems.
• Conducts network centric system administration of user systems.
• Provides intuitive solutions for ever changing user support requests.
• Integrates enterprise communications architecture with tactical networking devices.
• Assists with proposal development, if necessary.
• Performs other duties, as assigned.

• Strong software developer's level of understanding of Windows operating systems and/or Android mobile operating systems required.
• Possess the expert level of knowledge of mission planning networking hardware and software; SIPRNET and NIPRNET; communications (classified/unclassified networks and device procedures).
• Senior-level software development experience with Windows .NET framework and Powershell.
• Strong understanding of ATAK/WINTAK and US Army Nett Warrior mobile software frameworks.
• Knowledgeable of mission planning set-up and teardown procedures and mission planning and execution environment software loading and image creation.
• Possess an expert knowledge of applying security policy, procedures, and protective measures.
• Will be familiar with the following areas/programs:
  • Virtualization Technologies (VMware, ESXi, Hyper‑V)
  • Windows Server 2016/2019
  • Microsoft Domain
  • Redhat Enterprise Linux

• Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma.

• A+ CE, CCNA - Security, Network+, or SSCP highly desired.

• Must be able to effectively communicate with customer and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to:
  Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.

Secret Clearance but must be able to obtain a Top Secret Clearance

This position supports a U.S. Government Contract whose terms require Sawdey Solution Services to staff it only with U.S. Citizens.
