Remote Junior Data Engineer

Overview

Insight Global is hiring a Data Engineer to contribute to ongoing operational data workflows for a major healthcare partner. The position focuses on day-to-day processing and transformation of client data, with most tasks being consistent and routine. Occasional data issues may arise that require analytical troubleshooting. Candidates should bring 2+ years of data engineering experience and strong SQL expertise (SSIS, SQL Server), along with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to follow structured processes.

• Contribute to ongoing operational data workflows for a major healthcare partner.
• Handle day-to-day processing and transformation of client data; follow structured processes.
• Identify and troubleshoot data issues with analytical approaches as needed.

• 2+ years of data engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with SQL technologies, including SSIS and SQL Server.
• Strong understanding of SQL concepts and best practices.
• Demonstrates strong diligence and attention to detail; follows instructions accurately and consistently.

• Experience working with client data ingestion processes and handling healthcare PHI.
