As a SQL Server Database Administrator (DBA) with experience in ETL tools, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Azure, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing both on-premise and cloud databases, as well as supporting data integration processes and ensuring the quality and consistency of information flows.

• Administer, monitor, and maintain SQL Server databases, both on-premise and on Azure SQL
• Design and implement efficient ETL processes using SSIS and other tools
• Manage routine and extraordinary maintenance activities, backups, restores, and disaster recovery
• Promptly resolve issues related to databases and integration processes
• Collaborate with development teams, analysts, and stakeholders to define data requirements
• Optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and indexes to improve performance
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with current regulations

• Proven experience in the management and administration of Microsoft SQL Server (latest versions)
• Excellent knowledge of ETL processes and strong skills in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
• Experience with SQL Azure and cloud-based database solutions
• Expertise in performance optimization, query tuning, and index management
• Knowledge of backup/restore procedures, high availability, replication, and disaster recovery
• Proficient in T-SQL and scripting for process automation
• Familiarity with key monitoring and diagnostic tools
• Experience in complex and integrated enterprise environments
• Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with developers, analysts, and project managers
• Good command of English and Italian
