IT QA Tester / Automation, Systems Analyst
Clearance: U.S. Citizenship is required. Must be able to obtain a public trust clearance.
The Software Development Engineers in Test (SDET) will develop and execute both manual and automated testing.
Required Skills/ExperienceBachelor’s degree with eight (8) or more years of relevant experience in an Enterprise IT environment OR No Bachelor’s Degree with ten (10) or more years of relevant experience in an Enterprise IT environment.
Desired Certifications Desired Skills/Experience- 3+ years working on Agile Software Projects that used Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
- Experience developing and implementing efficient and effective testing strategies, test conditions and test scripts for projects.
- Proven ability to ensure appropriate testing coverage and requirements traceability through the creation, implementation and enhancement of comprehensive test plans, test cases/user stories, test steps and test automation.
- Proven experience testing in Agile Software Development environment.
- Experience defining clear expectations for all testing tasks, including inputs and outputs.
- Experience implementing test tools to support test automation, performance testing, and code coverage; i.e. Selenium and Sonar Qube.
- Developing and executing test plans, test cases, scripts, and creating test data for Agile Software Development team.
- Supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Actively participating in requirements evaluation to proactively identify gaps, automation opportunities, and “testability” of user stories
- Tracking defects and reporting key metrics for proactively identifying areas for improvement.
- Supporting setup of test environments for all planned test execution activities.
- Executing manual and automated testing activities in support of high-priority, time-sensitive business requirements.
- Supporting and executing 508 compliance testing
- Supporting successful completion of testing roadmap (manual test, automated test, 508, increased code coverage, etc.)
