Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (40 hrs/week)

AZDHS is seeking an experienced Applications Developer / Data Scientist to support data processing, analytics, and automation initiatives within the Division for Planning and Operations. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL Server development experience, Python-based data processing expertise, and hands‑on cloud experience.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in data processing / data analytics development
• Strong expertise in SQL, T-SQL, and SQL Server database development
• Proven experience building data processing and analytical tools using Python
• Experience with data formats:
  HL7, XML, JSON, CSV, EDI
• Hands‑on experience with:
  • Data modeling, data mapping, data transformation
  • Process automation
  • Data lifecycle management & data quality
• Experience working in cloud environments:
  AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field

• Experience with other RDBMS platforms
• UI development experience
• Experience with Power BI or other visualization tools
