Senior Palantir Engineer – Remote USA Key Responsibilities
- Application Development
- Build and maintain custom applications using Palantir OSDK and React for user-facing workflows.
- Develop reusable UI components and integrate with Foundry APIs for seamless data interaction.
- Implement responsive, secure, and performant front-end solutions.
- Ontology & Data Modeling
- Design and maintain ontologies, datasets, object types, and relationships that reflect business processes.
- Ensure data integrity, lineage, and governance across Foundry pipelines and applications.
- Dev Ops & CI/CD
- Apply Dev Ops principles for application deployment, version control, and automated testing.
- Manage Git repositories, implement CI/CD pipelines, and ensure secure secrets management.
- SQL & Data Integration
- Write optimized SQL queries for data transformations and application back-end logic.
- Collaborate with data engineers to integrate external systems and APIs into Foundry workflows.
- Collaboration & Documentation
- Work with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical designs.
- Provide clear documentation, demos, and handover materials for internal teams.
- 3+ years’ experience with Palantir Foundry, including OSDK and ontology modeling.
- Strong proficiency in React and modern JavaScript/Type Script frameworks.
- Solid experience with SQL (complex queries, performance tuning).
- Familiarity with Dev Ops concepts: CI/CD, Git workflows, containerization (Docker), and environment management.
- Experience integrating REST APIs and handling authentication, pagination, and schema evolution.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a contractor role.
- Hands‑on experience with OSDK and React for application development.
- Ability to design ontologies and data models for enterprise workflows.
- Knowledge of Dev Ops practices and CI/CD implementation.
- SQL proficiency and performance optimization strategies.
