Remote Epic Ambulatory Analyst

Day-to-Day:

A large regional health system in North Florida is seeking a Senior Epic Ambulatory Analyst to support enterprise scheduling operations. The ideal candidate brings strong Cadence or MyChart build experience, including template management and decision-tree optimization, along with Cadence or MyChart certification and any additional Epic certs as a plus. This analyst will be responsible for some project management work. The role requires a self-starter who can independently own build tasks, workflow optimization, and upgrade support with minimal ramp-up.

The contractor will work closely with clinical operations, leadership, and cross-application Epic teams to ensure stable, efficient scheduling workflows. This role reports to the Ambulatory/Access IT Manager.

Required Skills & Experience

Must-Haves:

• Ambulatory Certification

• Cadence AND/OR MyChart Certification

• Additional Epic certs strongly preferred (Preface, RTE, Prelude, Ambulatory, Radiant)

• 7+ years of Epic application experience in a healthcare system

• Proven experience owning Epic Cadence build (not shadow or advisory roles, Epic build needs to be in production (prod))

• Strong understanding of clinical workflows in ambulatory settings
Ability to own stakeholder interactions and influence decision making

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Plusses:

• Experience across multiple Epic modules beyond ambulatory

• Patient Questionnaire experience

• Prior experience in Enterprise Epic upgrades

• Familiarity with structures intake tools
Experience working directly with provider leadership and operational stakeholders
