Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Service Now Developer to design, develop, and implement enterprise‑grade solutions on the Service Now platform. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise across multiple Service Now modules, strong scripting and integration skills, and the ability to lead complex implementations in large‑scale environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Platform Development
    • Design and develop custom applications, workflows, and modules on Service Now.
    • Implement advanced automation using Flow Designer, Workflow Editor, and Orchestration.
    • Customize Service Now UI using Jelly, Angular

      JS, and modern front‑end frameworks.
  • Module Expertise
    • IT Service Management (ITSM):
      Incident, Problem, Change, Request, CMDB.
    • IT Operations Management (ITOM):
      Discovery, Event Management, Service Mapping.
    • IT Business Management (ITBM):
      Project Portfolio Management, Demand Management.
    • Security Operations (Sec Ops):
      Vulnerability Response, Threat Intelligence.
    • HR Service Delivery, Customer Service Management (CSM), GRC (Governance, Risk, Compliance).
  • Integration & APIs
    • Develop and maintain integrations with external systems using REST, SOAP, JDBC, and MID Server.
    • Work with APIs, web services, and integration platforms (Mule Soft, Dell Boomi).
    • Implement Single Sign‑On (SSO), LDAP, and OAuth integrations.
  • Scripting & Customization
    • Advanced scripting in JavaScript, Glide Script, and Service Now APIs.
    • Create and manage Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes.
    • Develop custom widgets using Service Portal and Angular

      JS.
  • Database & Reporting
    • Manage CMDB data models, relationships, and reconciliation.
    • Build advanced reports, dashboards, and Performance Analytics.
    • Optimize queries and ensure data integrity across modules.
  • Dev Ops & CI/CD
    • Implement automated deployments using Service Now’s Update Sets and Dev Ops integrations.
    • Work with Git, Jenkins, and Azure Dev Ops for version control and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Governance & Best Practices
    • Ensure compliance with ITIL processes and enterprise standards.
    • Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor junior developers.
    • Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to align solutions with business goals.

Experience
: 7+ years of Service Now development and administration in enterprise environments.

Technical Expertise
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Angular

    JS.
  • Deep knowledge of Service Now modules (ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, Sec Ops, HRSD, CSM, GRC).
  • Experience with integrations (REST, SOAP, APIs, MID Server).
  • Hands‑on with CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Soft Skills
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to lead projects and mentor junior team members.
Certifications
  • Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA).
  • Service Now Certified Application Developer (CAD).
  • Service Now Implementation Specialist certifications (ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, Sec Ops, HRSD).
  • Experience with AI/ML‑driven automation in Service Now.
  • Exposure to cloud‑native integrations (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Knowledge of Dev Sec Ops practices and security compliance.
Education
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

  • Candidates must be eligible for new H‑1B filing
