Senior Technical Lead

Our Client is looking for a talented and seasoned Web Portal Development Lead to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving digital engagement across our insurance platforms, ensuring seamless user experiences for customers, agents, and internal stakeholders.

This project lead role involves designing, developing, optimizing and maintaining of our enterprise web and mobile portals, integrating with various internal systems and databases.

The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background in various programming languages, web development, cloud computing, API integration, and insurance industry knowledge.

The candidate will be working directly with experienced leads, developers, and business stakeholders to deliver quality solutions.

This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days on-site and 2 days remote work.

• Drive the end-to-end architecture, development, and delivery of scalable, secure web and mobile portals—including sophisticated front-end interfaces and robust back-end services
• Partner with cross-functional teams—from UX/UI designers, development teams and business stakeholders—to deliver seamless, high-impact solutions
• Engineer portal capabilities for key insurance features such as policy management, claims, billing, and pension processing
• Embed industry-specific compliance and cybersecurity protocols, ensuring portals meet regulatory standards
• Lead Agile ceremonies, manage sprint cycles, conduct code reviews, and oversee CI/CD pipelines on containerized cloud platforms (AWS)
• Analyze customer insights, usage patterns, and performance metrics to drive continuous portal optimization
• Seamlessly integrate legacy systems, third-party APIs, and data sources into modern architectures
• Design and deploy microservices that connect internal and external systems, enabling dynamic data exchange and real-time functionality
• Stay at the cutting edge of web development, cloud technologies, and generative AI through ongoing research and innovation

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• 7+ years of experience in web development, with at least 2 years in a lead role
• Strong backend development skills in Node.js, Python, Java and databases (SQL, No
  
  SQL)
• Angular, Python and Databases skills are a must.
• Solid hands-on experience with AWS or Azure
  , including ECS,
  Docker, Kubernetes
  , and other containerization tools
• Strong understanding of microservices
  , serverless architectures
  , and event-driven systems
• Understanding of cloud networking fundamentals, including VPCs, Subnets
  , and scalable architecture on AWS
• Effective communicator and critical thinker with a track record of delivering in agile, fast-paced environments
• Experience in insurance operations, including claims, policy servicing, and customer support
• Preferred:
  Exposure to GenAI /AI/ML services in AWS, Dev Ops tooling, and advanced container orchestration
